The back of the chair doesn't extend even to my shoulders. What's the point of a recliner that doesn't have a head rest? Unless you're doing neck exercises you'll never want to use this chair in the reclining positions. I'm about 6' tall, but I think you'd have to be under 5' for any chance of resting your head on the chair. I didn't return it because it's as described; I just never imagined I needed to check the measurement of the back of recliner to ensure it was tall enough to use in reclining positions.
